The 2019 colors of the year were just recently launched and I’m already envisioning new design concepts! Sometimes the best part about working in real estate is seeing what a house might become. Behr, Sherwin-Williams, PPG and Benjamin Moore each called for a slightly different color trend but with one element in common – they’re all calling for earth tones! The question is, who paint it best? Which do color do you prefer?
Benjamin Moore
Calm, composed and effortlessly sophisticated, Benjamin Moore’s Color of the Year 2019, Metropolitan AF-690, exudes glamour, beauty and balance.
Sherwin-Williams
A warm terracotta color with ancient, elemental roots, Cavern Clay SW 7701, is our 2019 Color of the Year. Cavern Clay is a nod to midcentury modern style, but with the soul of the American Southwest, which together creates a desert modern aesthetic.
BEHR
Although gray remains a key neutral, warmer tones in taupe and brown are on the rise. Brown + blue is an updated combination; dusted brick is grounded yet refined by vintage influences.
PPG
Experience the transformative power of paint with PPG’s 2019 Color Trends. The 2019 Color of the Year – Night Watch (PPG1145-7) – is a rich, luxurious, and classic shade of green allowing spaces to emulate the feeling of lush greenery and the healing power of nature.
